TOTW is basically a joke that Ariana and I pull each week in our joint guise as the International Electrophonic Unit. Basically, we take some of the stupider things I’ve said on Twitter and elsewhere, often in a state of extreme alcoholic refreshment or severe sleep deprivation, and put them on a t-shirt. Ariana set up a Cafe Press store (because this is a joke and engaging with a serious maker of t-shirts would be less funny to us), and… well, once a week, here we are.

Through this website and this Cafe Press store, we’re going to release one t-shirt a week. It’ll go live on Monday… and it’ll die Sunday night — midnight UK time, more often than not. Each one lives for a week, and then it’s replaced by the next week’s shirt. Until I either run out of dumb ideas or Ariana’s brain explodes.

So, every Monday, I’ll post the new shirt here, and you can peer at it more at http://www.cafepress.com/electrophonic.

thrace_ @ 06:29 am: The thing that sucks the most about writing a Fringe AU where Olivia is a night club manager is the fact that all clubs in Boston close at 2AM. Two. In the morning. You'd think, being the college town that it is, clubs might at least close at 3AM. But they do not. The taxi drivers must love it, though, because the subway shuts down at about 12:30AM.

Anyway. Broyles owns this place, Club Fringe, where Olivia is his manager, Astrid spins Thursday through Saturday, Peter tends the bar (no one's managed to stump him with a drink yet), Walter is the cook, Charlie is the bouncer, and Nina Sharpe is the business manager for Massive Dynamic, which owns a bunch of rival clubs. I haven't figured out Rachel's place in all of this yet, but she's either going to be a VIP or a waitress. Either way, she and Olivia and are going to get freaky in a back booth. I'm leaning towards VIP.

Hoh yes, Olivia in her leather jacket, working the floor.

Author’s Notes: *points at self* This Smurf is a beta. NOT a writer. We all know this. That being said, I somehow ended up with two drabble prompts from my girlfriend, widget007 , to choose from. I vaguely remember asking her for them, but I’m almost positive she used some sort of trickery on my brain in the first place. It’s the only reason I can think of that would result in me asking for a writing prompt. *lol* But, as you can see, the so-called “drabble” turned into a full blown ficlet. *sheepish* So, anyway… Here you go. This is my first attempt ever at writing REAL characters and not just some that I dreamed up on my own. *hides*

Also, this is unbeta’ed, given that it was written as a surprise for mine. Bear with me. If you point out any mistakes, I’ll gladly fix them.

Relatively nasty headache/mid-grade migraine pretty much fucked me for any kind of decent writing today. I'm about 7500 words shy of the 25k mark that I need to have today. I'll make it up...and probably still be able to hit the 50k for the month. Just a minor setback atm. And honestly? Even if I don't get the 50k this year [winning sounds like a contest, which it's really not], I'll still have a good portion of Laikhostra written, particuarly with this new info that was set up. Hell, last night, I got some really interesting insighte into a couple of my characters; insight that is actually going to make them a fuckova lot easier to write!

The headache/migraine forced me to nap for almost 4 hrs today, which made me miss the bulk of the Looney Tunes marathon on Cartoon Network. But I got to see one of my alltime fave cartoons, "What's Opera, Doc?" so I'm good with that. Really probably should try to start collecting those DVDs one of these years... Watching Looney Tunes is a favorite childhood memory, thanks to my dad. LOVE that show!

I need to get some writing done, not just on NaNo. There are 2 months worth of licenseartistic prompts that I need to do, plus my Alex Moreau piece for choc_fic's 100 Days of Color that's due on my b'day, and my pieces for the FSAC :: DW09...

Meanwhile Jennifer Jareau begins dating the actress’s best friend, unaware she’s the stalker they’re searching for. Yeah that’s right I just revealed the ending of the episode, but it’s not possible to write this story without revealing it anyway. Numerous story revelations are revealed.

A/N: This episode not only had two women I really like (A.J. Cook and Katheryn Winnick) together, but the first portrayal of gay characters on Criminal Minds, with Katheryn being one of them. It had so many things going for it, but instead it was disappointing. A.J. and Katheryn’s screen time was minimal, they never appeared onscreen together, and the gay portrayals were terrible. Ironically Maggie Lowe is probably still the best portrayed gay character on the series. So I decided to write this episode the way it should’ve gone. Oh and that “lesbian” crushing on Gideon earlier in the episode because he reminded her of her dad? That scene alone warrants her getting erased from the story.
